Ingredients
- 3 slices of white, wheat, or sourdough bread
- 4 oz roasted turkey slices
- 3 strips crispy bacon
- 2 leaves romaine or iceberg lettuce
- 2 slices ripe tomato
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp butter (optional, for toasting bread)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
1️⃣ Toast the Bread – Lightly butter the slices and toast until golden.
2️⃣ Cook the Bacon – Fry until crispy, then drain on paper towels.
3️⃣ Assemble the First Layer – Spread mayo on one slice of toast, then add lettuce, tomato, and turkey.
4️⃣ Add the Second Layer – Place another slice of toast on top, spread mayo, and add bacon.
5️⃣ Complete the Sandwich – Top with the final toast slice, secure with toothpicks, and cut into quarters.
