- 2 large chicken breasts (or thighs)
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ cup chicken broth or white wine
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: Pat dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
- Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a pan and cook the chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from the pan.
- Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same pan, melt butter, add garlic, and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Deglaze the Pan: Pour in chicken broth (or white wine) and scrape up any browned bits. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Finish Cooking: Return the chicken to the pan, add lemon juice, and spoon the sauce over the chicken. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Serve & Enjoy: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with your favorite sides!
Notes
- For a crispy version, coat the chicken lightly in parmesan cheese before searing.
- Swap butter for ghee if you need a dairy-free alternative.
