Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ cup chicken broth or white wine
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Pat dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a pan and cook the chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from the pan.
  3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same pan, melt butter, add garlic, and sauté for 30 seconds.
  4. Deglaze the Pan: Pour in chicken broth (or white wine) and scrape up any browned bits. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  5. Finish Cooking: Return the chicken to the pan, add lemon juice, and spoon the sauce over the chicken. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve & Enjoy: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with your favorite sides!
