Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked day-old rice
  • 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup peas and carrots
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  • Prepare Ingredients – Chop vegetables, beat eggs, pat shrimp dry, and loosen cold rice.
  • Cook the Shrimp – Heat oil in a wok over high heat. Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes, then set aside.
  • Scramble the Eggs – In the same pan, add eggs and scramble until fully cooked. Push to the side.
  • Stir-Fry Rice & Vegetables – Add garlic, peas, and carrots, followed by cold rice. Stir-fry over high heat.
  • Add Sauces and Shrimp – Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Toss everything together and add the cooked shrimp back in.
  • Garnish and Serve – Top with chopped green onions and serve hot.

Notes

📌 Use Day-Old Rice – Freshly cooked rice contains too much moisture, making it sticky. For the best texture, use cold, day-old rice straight from the fridge.
